INGREDIENTS
1 cup yellow moong splits lentils ( call Moong Dal to)
2 cup wash and shredded broccoli
1/4 cup coriander/ or cilantro leaves wash and finely chopped
1/2 cup chickpeas flour ( for binding)
1 tablespoon corn or canola oil to cook lentils/or your choice
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice/ or your taste
2 teaspoon cumin seed
1/2 teaspoon ajwain seed
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder / or 2 green chili pepper (optional)
some corn or canola oil to cook them,/ or your choice
salt to taste
METHOD
1:Wash your lentils and soak them for one hour or half an hour then cook them, put soaked lentils in a strainer and wash them with clean water. Then put the pan on stove medium heat add one tablespoon oil in let get hot, add cumin seed and ajwain seed, let them cook for 5 seconds, then add lentils in with a pinch of turmeric powder and a pinch of red chili powder.
2 Add one cup water in salt to taste mix well and cover pan halfway and let cook for five or seven minutes, keep and stir in between to make sure it doesn’t stick to the pan. You may need more water so add 1/4 cup water, ( you don’t want licvidi) check it is ready ( when it’s ready it look soft mushy) press with your finger it gets press and soft then it is ready, ( if need more water put two tablespoons at Time)
4: In a bowl mix all ingredients, broccoli, and chickpeas, flour chili powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, coriander leaves and salt to taste. mix all with hand just enough to make boll, make, same size boll.

5: Put pan on stove medium low heat, add 2 tablespoon oil in let get hot, mean while put little oil in both hand and make boll and make nice round petits, and put in pan let cook 5 minutes then turn over let cook another side 5 minutes or until both side get golden brown.( you can make all same way until batter finish)
here we go our petits is ready to eat.

You can make great sandwiches with gluten free bread,or eat with hummus or ketchup.Good for children’s lunch box.
