STEAM VEGGIES PETTISH FOR SANDWICHES

INGREDIENTS

1/4 block tofu any kind is ok

1/2 cup cabbage wash and shredded

2 carrots wash and chopped

1 beet wash and cut

1 hand full spinach wash and chopped

1/2 green bell pepper wash and chopped

1/2 red bell pepper wash and chopped

1/2 cup cornflour

1/2 cup sorghum flour

1/2 cup chickpeas flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 green chili wash and chopped/ or to your taste

1 lemon/ or lime fresh lemon juice

1 inch of ginger

1 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

2 tablespoon oil corn or canola/ or your choice

1/4 cup coriander/or cilantro leaves, wash and chopped

salt to taste

METHOD

1: Take bowel to add all flour in, baking powder, turmeric, red chili powder, cumin seed, and oil. Mix all well with your hand and keep aside.

2:Take all veggies and put them in the blender, and crush them very fine with green chili and ginger. Then add all veggies mixture in to the flour mixture, and add coriander then mixes all to make the dough.

THIS IS OUR DOUGH IS  READY

3: Now we are going to make pettish, and steam them. ( if you have a  steamer you can  use )Take big pot which can feet your steam dish in, add water in and put on stove high heat, let become boil, meanwhile  make pattish ready, brush oil all over the dish with whole, and take some oil in your hand and make pettish, we going to make two size pettish, 1 small one to eat with lentil soup, and 2 one is big to make the  sandwich, arrange all your pettish in dish wich you brush with oil,and put in the pot whice with boiling water.

4:Now cover the pot and let cook for 20 minutes, (make sure water is enough so pot don’t  get burn) then turn stove off and let get little cool and serve,to make sandwich, or eat with lentil curry, out off one thing you can make two delicious meals.

5: Here our pettish are ready to eat the way we want. You can see No one picture eat with lentils soup, 2 one you can make a sandwich with catchup and some fresh cherry tomatoes and fresh cucumber and gluten-free bread, or anything you want.

Note: it is without lentils pettish, with good protein and veggies, little different then usually, you can eat ant time, lunch dinner, good for children lunch box too.

This is vegan, allergy-friendly, gluten-free,  dairy-free, nut-free.
